With the number of technology tools and devices flooding the market and more set for release, it’s easy for users to feel overwhelmed when faced with making choices about what tools will work best for them. Educators face the specific challenges of not only finding the right tools to help their students learn but knowing how to use them effectively in their practice.
On Thursday, March 15, Technology in Education Partnership (TEP) will bring together experts and local educators with classroom technology experience, along with vendors, for our second annual Technology in Education (TiE) Conference. Held at the Kittredge Center for Business and Workforce Development at Holyoke Community College, from 8:00am – 4:30pm, this event is designed to help ease the sense of overwhelm and generate excitement among educators about using technology in the classroom to further their students’ educational goals. The TiE Conference provides educators with the opportunity to hear directly from other teachers and experienced trainers about how they’re using technology tools in the classroom and to receive guidance and concrete teaching strategies for helping students learn.
